1. I'm just about to head off on a weekend with my eldest daughter (10) for a mothers and daughters activity weekend. It's raining but the wellies are packed! Hoping I survive!
2. Head a tiny 3 week old baby this morning - gorgeous remembering new life - so small and perfect!
3. Had a delivery of some amazing biscuits from a friend - special.
Have a good weekend all, despite all the hard.

Hi
Are you at the Grange in Shanklin? If so please send Christine and the team my best wishes (although I haven't been for over 2 years now) and if the crazy golf is open in Rylstone Gardens you might enjoy it!
Sorry not to have participated much here recently: I was in the hospice again yesterday for more paracentesis but some of the good things have been spending some nice times with my children in the past couple of days.
Hi
Indeed I am an indeed I will! It’s lovely. Will Christine know you as jaykay, though?
I’m sorry to hear you’ve been back in the hospice - although if you’re more comfortable that’s a good thing. It’s great to hear you’ve had nice times with your children.
My three good things for today.
I had a lovely time doing yoga. An unusual form of yoga but I learned a lot and released a lot of tension
I’ve enjoyed the company of people on the course. It’s nice to make new friends.
I have enjoyed the art on the walls of the hotel. Some of it is brilliant, some is hilariously awful. Either way it’s enjoyable
xx
My three good things for this weekend:
I went to Manchester with a friend and met up with another friend not seen for ages - so lovely
I went to an anti trafficking conference which fired my resolve to continue to fight for what I think is important despite this interrruption to my life called cancer. I might not be able to do much as I once did but I can support the charity in smaller ways... self esteem boosted!
I am off to a children's classical music concert with my little ones this afternoon - such a treat.
Still stunned that I'm living beyond the medic's expectations - still here, still expectant, still looking for the joy. I hope you're all peaceful today.

So pleased, ,that someone I know is enjoying the delights of The Grange!
I went on 3 different courses there in 2016: Mindfulness, a writing course called the stories of your life and one which was more psychotherapeutic (run by Malcolm Stern) - all of which I greatly enjoyed. Christine might remember me as the woman with incurable cancer who kept on returning, and for the 2nd and 3rd courses my children joined me in the hotel for a night too.
I hope the weather is as sunny in Shanklin as it is here today and the sea is calm for your return crossing!
Hi
She is pretty sure she knows who you are and sends her love.
The sun is shining and I am sitting on the terrace that looks out to the sea after a cooked breakfast and before yoga. I’m going to have to take it easy today. I overdid it yesterday and ended up with referred pain in my shoulder from the liver tumours. They are across the top of the liver, next to the diaphragm. Must have been all that deep breathing...

Hi
it is a bit early in the day but I can always do more good things later if need be.
1. I had a lovely hour gardening in the sunshine this morning, putting newly arrived plug plants into larger pots and a bit of weeding
2. Next door’s camellia is bedecked with pink flowers that clash gloriously with the yellow forsythia on my side
3. My new electric bike! I picked it up yesterday. Cycling is once again possible. I feel so free on a bike and was sad to think I’d not do it again. But the e bike makes mincemeat of the hills where I live. I’m off out on it now...just to the shops but it’s enough

Ahh, the garden in the sunshine!
1) Our garden had callers this morning: Mr. and Mrs. Duck from across the way. They were so tidy and purposeful in their approach, investigated the premises (for nesting? ..who knows) and departed in the same fashion.
2) A telephone call from a old university friend.
3) A nice cozy afternoon lie down with the cat to warm my feet.
Simple pleasures.
Continuing the wildfowl theme;
Geese wandering about looking for juicy grass and nesting sites
I have some mini eggs that need eating
Booking tickets to visit Keukenhof on Monday.
Have a lovely day everyone, keep safe and well.

I’ve just booked a trip to London in November to see Tutankhamun! Who knows what I will be l8ke in November, but need to live.
Have a lovely day everyone

Eggs now a theme.
Yesterday's 3 include a friend popping by with fresh eggs from her hens; the neighbour between us and the stream brought us a bottle of soup and half loaf of fresh baked bread; I started an embroidered needle case for my granddaughter and it is going well so far (they don't always.)
Today's 3: Telephone visit with son,carrot-banana cake from same neighbour above, a pop-visit from Aunt She brought chocolate eggs.
Come on in, we've plenty (especially eggs.
