1. I'm just about to head off on a weekend with my eldest daughter (10) for a mothers and daughters activity weekend. It's raining but the wellies are packed! Hoping I survive!
2. Head a tiny 3 week old baby this morning - gorgeous remembering new life - so small and perfect!
3. Had a delivery of some amazing biscuits from a friend - special.
Have a good weekend all, despite all the hard.

Presents wrapped? Talk about being ahead of the game, WB!
Here are my three good things from yesterday
1. The plush antibody for my allergic biology student daughter’s stocking arrived. It’s hilarious - thanks for recommending that website Lass.
2. Watching Noodle’s little black and white bottom bobbing up and down as she ran through the golden beech leaves in our local wood.
3. Using all the cheese scraps up in some delicious cheese scones and eating them hot out of the oven.

1. Got all my Christmas shopping for the only people (aged two and five) who really matter.
2. Caught up with an old friend and heard an interesting talk live-streamed at the Central Library. When I got home, discovered that one of the books discussed was on special offer so it’s now on my Kindle waiting to be read next.
3. My team has won two on the bounce so I’m going to watch a recording of MOTD when I get back from a walk at Jesmond Dene in the wintry sunshine.
1. Letting Noodle the puppy off the lead in the dog field at the local park for the first time. Watching her run and play with the other dogs in the early morning winter sun sparkling on the frosty grass was joyous
2. A friend joined me and my daughter for lunch then travelled up to London with me for my hospital appointment
3. A long cuddle in bed with my girls discussing the books I read them at bedtime when a nightly story was our ritual
