I did it my way.
Hello everyone, just wanted to update you on my latest news. It has been confirmed today that I have become refractory to all available active treatment and I will now only receive purely palliative care to control symptoms as I let nature takes it course. Fortunately preparations for this turn of events were made many months ago so my husband and I can spend our remaining weeks together relatively stress free. I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for the support you have given me and hope I have given it in return. My intention is to stay in touch for as long as I can as I am not currently in any distress. I have had a good life and a wonderful marriage so am not bitter about what has happened.
Dear , Jane, there’s nothing I can say except that I’m thinking of you. Much love. J x
Dear Johnty,
you don’t know me but I wanted to say I hope when my time comes I face it with a much dignity and calmness that you seem to be able too. You are an inspiration. I wish you a peaceful pain free time so you can spend it with your loved ones in the best possible way xx
Just to echo everyone else's good wishes. Your posts have always been open, honest and down to earth and have helped me and I am sure so many others, both those of us who post and those who dont. May whatever time you have left be spent thinking only of yourself and those close to you. You are clearly a lovely human being.
xx
Dear Jane
I wish you peace, love and comfort. You are an amazing person.
Take care
X

Dearest Johnty
you were the first person to greet me and the first one to be my friend. I said I was leaving the Public side of this community but I cannot stay that way without replying to you once more. I love your nature photos. Especially the heron. I can’t believe you haven’t been on here long, as your posts sound as if you have bee a champion for years with your support and advice. I love your picture messages. When your time comes, I shall picture you flying off like that heron. God will be lucky to have you. Thanks so much for your friendship and support Johnty. Give my regards to your husband and family too.
my name is Deena.
Dear Johnty, I am not good with words so i will just send a virtual hug, and a hope that you enjoy the time you have let and the end is pain free. Lynn 2 xx
