My beautiful daughter is 22 years old and has been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer that has spread to her liver and bones, she’s to unwell for chemo and we have been in hospital for 3 weeks now and still battling to get her pain under control. She has two children and she is my whole world, I am trying to be a tower of strength for her and I have not left. Her side through all of this but some days most days the pain of this terminal diagnosis is crushing me.
Hi
So sorry to read this, I can only imagine the pain of watching your child and the mother of your grandchildren going through this. I hope you have some support in place for you too as being that tower of strength is much easier to say than do.
While being in hospital must be very hard it can be helpful in ensuring your daughter gets the care she needs allowing you to be mother rather than nurse. Given the age I guess her children are still very young.
<<hugs>>
Steve
