Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Evening Helen.
I'm sure your bangers and mash were better than the missing chef would have served up, especially in the comfort of the MH.
Apart from having a lousy time getting some decent sleep, the rest sounds great and Christmas movies, crocheting and snug inside just can't be bettered. Hugs to you and Alan xxx
Hi Eddie.
I can't report on the Teddy bedding yet as I didn't put it on till this afternoon. It's certainly soft so I'm sure it'll do the trick!
Aw thanks for doing the honours with Annette and I'll not be on my own in wishing her the very best. As I do you my friend, as I don't want anyone to be feeling unwell. I'll definitely go back to Birstall soon and snap up some of those roulade before I start dreaming about them. Not long now till you set off and LOH has looked away from the footy long enough to send you a thumbs up. He's going for Scotland of course xxx
Hi Helen, that's great you got away, and Rutland is lovely, and has a water park on the lake, if your feeling brave, I know how much you like cooler conditions
, and I would love bangers and mash my friend, maybe soon, and thank you for your good wishes.
Eddie xx
Oooh Gilly, freshly washed bedding is lovely, but new is so much nicer, I thought you both would have an early, cosy night? and I've not been in touch with Annette just yet, but will do soon, so if their's anything else you want me to tell her, fire away.
Lidl/Aldi do a nice roulade while you wait, I've just dropped Poppy and Cassie off at Sheila's son and DiL, now having a bowl of broth
, again
, before bed, sorry haven't watched any TV lately, but I hope Scotland won. It's been a while so I'll PM you soon.
love Eddie and aunties xx
Oh Eddie, I've just seen this as I thought you might be having an early night, so no need to reply xx
I think you'll be able to convey to Annette how much she'll be missed as she's a legend on here, and I just love her The football was an absolute stonker with Scotland winning 4 2. Yay! We were thrilled, but I don't know why the flags in my earlier post were black as they were meant to be the Saltire. ?? Anyway, Nige sent us a message a few hours ago, but he said he's been out of it for a few days, so I told him again that him and Ellise are in your prayers. It gave us a lift, knowing he's still with us.
We've got Lidl and Aldi quite near so I'll go soon and get some goodies till I can get to M&S again. I'm still up watching telly, but LOH is well suited with the bedding and he'll probably sleep in but that's ok as we've nothing on for tomorrow.
I hope you're asleep now and I'm sending you the very best of luck on your travels and have a wonderful holiday. You thoroughly deserve it my fine friend. Lots of love to you and yours xxx
Hello Gill,
Unfortunately the telescope trips are booked ages in advance so we didn't get the chance to have a tour of one. There's an exhibition with superb pictures taken through them though, so that's a consolation.
There are wild bears up there so they have installed bear proof rubbish bins outside so the bears can't raid them. I had a couple of empty coffee cups to chuck but couldn'f figure how to open the bin myself!
Been to Tombstone today as it happens, very interesting.
Now there's another coincidence, I was half brought up in Barmston as my parents had a caravan there from me being about 9 years old, we used to spend loads of weekends and all our annual 2 week hols there, I had as many mates there as I did at home in Croggy.
Good luck with the dips.
Derek.

Just about to message Annette, then get some sleep, that's lovely Nige has been in touch, and thank you for passing on my message Gilly, well I'm hoping to join LOH, not literally, in the land of nod, but Annette 1st, sleep well my friend.
love Eddie and aunties xx
Hi Derek.
Keep packing in the sights, as you'll be able to do the holiday snaps routine to friends when you get home.
Ah Barmston. We've never been ones for wanting to travel to distant shores and found everything there we wanted, even though many would find it far too quiet. I often look at houses for sale there, but they're few and far between. However, an elusive big win would fit the bill and we'd even love one of those luxury caravans with all mod cons. It'd beat the effort of cleaning a whole house anyday!
Now I know you've visited Tombstone you'll have to tell of your exploits, when you've got time. I really enjoy hearing about them and I guess others here do as well. Keep on trucking fella xxx
