My husband - Chris - died on the 2nd May 2009 because he had anal cancer. He knew he was going and we spoke about lots and lots of things before he died. That is why I am just not prepared for the huge amount of guilt I feel now. I feel guilty that the world hasn't stopped turning round even though he has died. I feel like everything should stop as a mark of respect. I also feel very guilty that he had to be so ill he had to die. What a cruel cruel thing it is to make someone so ill their body just stops working. I wasn't ready for him to go. I really really hope these are normal feelings because I must hang on to my sanity for the sake of my 3 children. I have never known sadness like I feel right now. I can't believe that I will not hear his voice or feel his touch again. We were married for almost 32 years and I have known Chris for 34 years - since I was 16. What happens now? Ailsa

TKMaxx. I practiaclly live in the place. Jennifer found a dress in there. She looks gorgeous. (Wish I could fit into it).  She bought shoes last week and had to fet a dress to go with them. Not that difficult as they are 'rainbow' shoes and will match to almost anything.

Good luck with the hunt Helen.

Hope you all had a lovely evening. Helen, thanks for the chat on f/b it did me good but sorry I was so wimpish.  I do hope I didn't spoil your day.

Love, peace and light and special ((((((angel hugs))))))) to you all.

    Love x x x Patricia x x x

Good morning everyone.  It is a beautiful day here as well.  I was up late last night with Stu & Suzanne but, like you Helen, still can't sleep in.  Doing big housework day today so I might try for an hours rest this afternoon.  I am going to my Mum & Dad's later for food and I don't want to be falling asleep.  I had a lovely evening yesterday - stayed in, made cocktails, played on the wii and ate a takeaway.  Patricia - we set those sky candles off that I bought on Friday.  It was a lovely evening for it - really still.

Patricia I hope you are feeling a little better.  I still can't believe that we had such a lovely afternoon on Friday and then you ahd such a bad time on Friday night.  Take care of yourself xx.

Fiona it is good that Darren has work for another week.  Rosemary you sound so happy now that Daniel is home safe and sound.  That is so lovely that Samantha is happy with her boyfriend.

Helen you have made more excited about next weekend if that was possible.  The hotel sounds great with the live entertainment as well.  What more could we ask for.  I had a quick look in on here before I turned in last night and had to laugh at you, Rosemary & Sue and your eBay and Primark bargains.  I am still hoping for a little shopping in Newcastle but if not I have my trip to Liverpool to shop don't I.

Hope everyone has a nice day.  Have you thawed out yet Lynne?  I would definately have waited for warmed weather next month!  Take care everyone.  Ailsa xxx

    Hello all

I was up very late last night, all night in fact, lol. I think Rachel and Dave chose the best night for me to babysit, they had quite obviously starved the poor mite! He was up for every feed on the dot and grizzled his way through the rest of the night. I think he was having a bit of a laugh at his gran, everytime I jumped out of bed because he was crying, on entering his bedroom, he was fast asleep, hmmm. Still loved every minute though, that smile of his does it for me everytime, even at 4am when he thinks it is time to get up and play!

Well had a good look at the clothes situation, just can't decide what to take, need a bigger case!! The hotel restaurant and entertainment sound good to me, at least we won't have to bother with transport, I haven't looked yet but that is next on my list, along with finding out what time I have booked train for!

It is a lovely day here too, Dan and I went for a long walk early this morning, it was still a little frosty but quiet and could hear the birds singing, really enjoyed it.

Wish I was coming to yours for Sunday lunch Lynne, sounds good. I am supposed to be making a curry but feel so lazy, I really must though because I ate very little yesterday and felt quite sick in the night because I was so hungry.

Right I am off to look at hotel, speak later, Lesley x

hi you all sound so excited about meeting up next weekend, I wish I could go too.  But I am off on my international adventure to the united states so that will be fun.  My good friend and I will drive to Toronto Thursday night and spend the night with my BIL then leave the dog there and fly to Albany.  We are to see John Edward on Saturday afternoon and hope to do some sightseeing and of course shopping on the other two days.  I will be home either late Tuesday or Wednesday, then have the rest of the week off for Spring break.

I really struggled to get through last week, felt so lonely and sad.  I am trying to keep myself up today, the sun has been shining all week and the snow is melting, beautiful days for walking so I hope to get the poor puppy out for a trail walk today, then make some chicken soup for my lunches next week.

Special angel hugs for Patricia, hope your next shift is much better.  Hugs to you all and I want to go meet you all.

    love Bren

Wish we could meet you too, Bren'. Such a shame I won't get to meet Patricia, Rosemary, Sue or Dottee yet either.  Not to mention Dave and John. We will raise a glass to you all.

Hope you enjoy your time away Bren.

Has Gayle gone somewhere this weekend? She has been very quiet.

    Hi, bren and Lesley

I'm sorry as well that i won't be able to make it next weekend, but I'm sure that we'll meet up at some point. any plans to travel this way, bren - or shall we all come to you?????? (This coming from someone who has never been to an airport, let alone set foot in of those new-fangled planes!!)

it's been a beautiful day here in the south west as well; clear blue skies and sun. Cold, though. Perfect dog walking weather - what breed is your dog, bren? I have 2 labradors, one chocolate and one sable. Love them to bits, but they don't half make a mess when it's muddy outside.
