My husband - Chris - died on the 2nd May 2009 because he had anal cancer. He knew he was going and we spoke about lots and lots of things before he died. That is why I am just not prepared for the huge amount of guilt I feel now. I feel guilty that the world hasn't stopped turning round even though he has died. I feel like everything should stop as a mark of respect. I also feel very guilty that he had to be so ill he had to die. What a cruel cruel thing it is to make someone so ill their body just stops working. I wasn't ready for him to go. I really really hope these are normal feelings because I must hang on to my sanity for the sake of my 3 children. I have never known sadness like I feel right now. I can't believe that I will not hear his voice or feel his touch again. We were married for almost 32 years and I have known Chris for 34 years - since I was 16. What happens now? Ailsa

Must get my bag packed for next week, i will just put in jeans trousers and a couple of tops as well, and my camera. Ailsa i am jealous of you going to see Simple Red in June i think they are great. I feel the same as you all i don't know what i would have donr without this site in the last year. I am just at home tonight keeping my energy for next weekend. We have had a lovely day so hope it stays for next weekend. Darren got work next week again so not so bad. I was working today and a man went passed the window and he had a penguin jumper on, wondered if he would let me borrow it for next week ha ha.  I am off to watch a bit tv speak soon, not many sleeps now roll on . Evening all, special love and hugs to Patricia and bringing all that need it into the centre of the huddle.  I'm fuzzed out on red wine at the moment so can look after you all tonight - although typing this is taking a long time, I have to keep going back over it as it seems the keyboard is a bit fuzzy in it's marbles too!  Hope you are feeling a bit better Patiricia, don't let the b*****s get you, you are worth more than that xxxx

Daniel is home!!!!!!  Safe and sound and just as cheeky and cocky as ever, bless him, sun tanned and healthy looking.  I am SO pleased he forgot to tell me that not only was he dehydrated but because of that his right kidney had shut down!!!!  Oh my goodness, I knew I wasn't worrying over nothing, but he IS alright now and eating and drinking just like normal.  Don't know if I should get him to our doctor now to get checked over, it all sounds very scary to me, it all happened so quickly.

Samantha is on cloud nine, her new boyfriend (been talking to him online, as he was in the army, for seven months and now has been seeing him for 7 weeks since he came home), they went to do the horse together and then apparently he kissed her (which I believe he has done before as Geordie dog decided to stick his head between them and lick Wayne's cheeK!), and she got that ZAP of seretonin which sticks you on a high for hours, if not days and means you're in looooovvvvveeeee.  Oh dear lets hope it all works out, can't do anymore heartbreak for her. (Have I told you the long story of her love life? It's better than the television soaps)

Helen, the lasagne was one of my best, wish you had been able to join us - sometimes they are just average and ok but tonight I think I must've added just the right amount of red wine and garlic, it was truely yummy and I ate too much.  Hope your evening is going ok anyway, maybe you should try the bar in Greece just in case though. xxx

Well love and hugs from the very fuzzy, muzzy one hope you are all ok, will look in later (unless I fall asleep after this glass) night night penguins xxxxxxxxxxx
