Im interested in how people were told of their illness,Were you taken aside and talked with privatly or asked if you wanted a friend or family with you? Were you given support with the news?please tell me how being told affected you?

Changes in My Mum

My Mum has Non Small Cell Lung Cancer & Brain & Liver Metastases. She's on 10mg of Dexamethasone, being reduced by tablet a week. She's had Radiotherapy and is now much worse.

Daughter to a lymphoma Mum

My Mum was diagnosed with small lymphocytic lymphoma in August 2009. They (as in the medical folks she saw) had thought it was a bad cold, overactive glands, pneumonia and Swine Flu and then it was finally diagnosed as cancer. This is the story from there
