Ah...the saga of the Discharge letter finally ends . So........Jack the Ripper ( the Macmillan nurse tells a cancer patient ) to chase up the letter herself . The  hospital sent the letter to the cancer patient's GP direct without telling the cancer patient. The cancer patient calls the hospital and speaks to the ONLY senior nursing person I had ANY confidence in ( I'll call her KIP.......Keeping It Real ) , who stated…

S was to be at the hospital at 9am , which mean getting up at 6.30/7am . Luckily a friend of hers is giving us a lift as…

    Wed 15/6.

Finished work this morning . I got so much from spending time on the internet reading about ovarian cancer than from the hospital or Jack the Ripper. I bumped into an acquaintance of mine , a Dame .............honestly A REAL DAME .........We exchanged pleasantries and then she asked what was the matter as it looked as if I had the weight of the world on my shoulders. And that was it . I started to cry and told…
