S's brother and his wife arrived today. Really nice couple. I started to get teary when I mentioned our time away 2 years ago when the S had a chance to have am owl perched on her arm . That was such a lovely photo I took of her and her new feathered friend. I finally found out why the tall Asian consultant came to apologise one morning after his visit the day before after he told us both that her cancer had spread to her stomache after I was assured that there were no other surprizes after my S came back from kidney failure but was diagnosed with ovarian cancer . He misread her file notes...and worried the shit out of both of us.....but it's the patient only who gets the apology. Proof that I really don't count in this horrible saga at all . And still no effing discharge form hospital letter.
