Oh well, that's it then, fun's over :-( J has just gone off with his friend for chemo round 3, the start of the half way point. He was saying that he was OK about it, but he was very restless in the night and quite pale when he set off so I would guess that he is a bit on edge. And I would guess that is mainly to do with the dreaded canula. I hope it goes in ok, I hope he doesn't faint, I hope he doesn't get horribly…

At last we've found the BEACOPP good days. Took a bit of doing but days 16-21 are where it's at! J doesn't feel sick or too tired, and has been full of the joys the last few days. In fact he took me and the boys away for the weekend to celebrate, and it was very good. We stayed in  a hotel, went to the football museum, went out for dinner and then went plane spotting the next day (all things the little fellas…

I think last time I wrote I was predicting that my punishment for a nice weekend away would be all holy hell on my return. And indeed, while I didn't particularly have a nice weekend, things here are definitely NOT good. John now strongly resembles that Russian spy who got poisoned with polonium a few years back. He has got a sore back again and an upset stomach. He may be partly responsible for this having had late nights…

Yikes! I'm getting a train in about an hour and going down to see my  mum and dad for the weekend and get the boys. J's got his mum and sister coming to visit today and his friend coming to stay for the weekend. I am trusting that he will walk the dog and cook and be on hand in case J feels poorly, and it won't be like a scene from Don't Tell the Bride when the crazy stags get together!!

    Feeling quite…

I spoke too soon the other day about how great our fell walking was. It obviously didn't agree with poor John at all. He felt really sick by bed time, felt sick in the car the next day on the way to chemotherapy, fainted again when he got there and the canula went in, and came home grey, cold, and absolutely shattered. No more Wainwrights for us for a bit I think....

I'm getting a bit worried about John and this…
