Good news today at J's scan results appointment. There has been significant reduction in the size of all of his tumours. Some in the chest and neck have just about gone. The one in his abdomen is still the biggest but it has reduced appropriately in size. There are no new areas of the disease. His back is the same, but the consultant said that was to be expected because the disease can leave abnormalities...

J is halfway through his chemo now (we hope) and starts his 4th of 6 cycles on Wednesday. But before that we are going to see the consultant to find out how he got on in his CT scan.

He wants to know if it is working. He is convinced that it is working.

I feel very weird and skittish…

When John started round two BEACOPP on Wednesday he brought home his little pack of drugs as normal. Only this time there were some differences:-

    1. One pack of tablets he'd had last time wasn't there.

    2. There was a new pack of different  tablets.

    3. The injections he was expecting were there but had someone else's name on them.

He duly took them back on Thursday and had a very apologetic nurse about the…
