    Crikey loads has happened since my last blog. Got shingles 3 days before I went on holiday ... good start eh ... but luckily only a few on my back, got in at docs quick and he gave me some anti viral pills. Then on the day I went away went to have my mask fitted for the radiotherapy, was much better than I had expected, it was a sheet of plastic mesh stuff that was all warm and floppy, they pulled it over my face, clipped…

    Just got back from Jimmys and my appointment with the radiographer, after all the fretting over what decision to make and sorting questions to ask she recommended that I have radiotherapy............so that was it decision made and no more pros, cons and the kitchen sink whizzing about in my head! She was really nice, explained everything clearly and told me that she would sort the radiotherapy asap as the gap from finishing…

    Its been 3 months now since chemo finished and have thrown myself into getting back to 'normal' but feel like I am moving in circles instead of forward. On one hand I do feel much better, each week I feel stronger and have been enjoying getting a bit of fitness back with a bit of swimming and gym class................and my other favourite exercise..........shopping :-) Then on the other hand my appointment for Jimmys…

    Just been to my first follow up appointment after getting remission last month and saw my regular consultant. He went through my scan results again and although result is same that I am in remission the information was different. He told me that the CT scan still showed a mass in my chest (at last appointment I was told the lymph nodes were back to normal) but the PET scan had come back negative which showed the lymphoma…

    Went to clinic today and took ages to get called in, turned out that the consultant had been chasing my results and catching up on my case as not my regular consultant. The meeting for my case earlier this week was cancelled as the radiologist was called away to an emergency and has been re-scheduled for next week so couldn't tell me anything about whether radiotherapy is still needed. Then the computer wouldn't connect…
