Went to clinic today and took ages to get called in, turned out that the consultant had been chasing my results and catching up on my case as not my regular consultant.
The meeting for my case earlier this week was cancelled as the radiologist was called away to an emergency and has been re-scheduled for next week so couldn't tell me anything about whether radiotherapy is still needed. Then the computer wouldn't connect when he tried to pull my CT scan results up, kinda got the feeling it wasn't going to be my day.
Then he went through my file and found a report which said that the lymph nodes in my chest are back to normal size and there was NED on PET scan, he then said that meant I was in complete remission.
What a turnaround, couldn't quite believe it as I was convinced there was more to come but it's starting to sink in now and I am so happy.
It'smy birthday today too so this is the best present ever! Going out for tea to celebrate when kids get home from school.......yippee!

What brilliant news, I'm so pleased for you. Happy Birthday - go out and have a great celebration with your family. You had the same lymphoma as me, and I'm clear too - what a great new club to be in!
