    Had my CT scan yesterday, there were three of us in the waiting room this time all dutifully quaffing on our jugs of aniseed water before we went in for our scans. My veins were not happy bunnies this time, kept disappearing when they tried to get the cannula in.     I applied for DLA in December 08 and was turned down, at this stage after having an official letter telling me that I wasn't eligible I would normally have accepted it and left it at that. However after participating in another post I received a message from another member on this site which thankfully gave me the hope and motivation that I needed to ask DWP to look at my claim again.     My scan appointments have now come through, I will be getting a PET scan on 14th May and a CT scan on 26th May. Have been to clinic today and my consultant has given me an appointment on 5th June (my birthday) for the results, when he heard that it was my birthday on that day he offered to put the appointment back a week, I have never said no to anything so fast!     Just got back from chemo no 8 - the last one - yey! Can't quite believe I got there, the last one seemed such a scary world away when I had my first lot of R-CHOP. Next is a four week wait to give this last one chance to work and then will have a CT scan and PET scan so that consultant can decide what is to happen next.     Just been for chemo number 7 today, was lucky that bloods were OK on Friday and not effected by the cold I had so everything went ahead as planned. Hadn't slept much last night so practically asleep in chair while rituximab was going in, know what's going to happen so don't know why I lose sleep over it every time but hey ho! Am just waiting for the sickness to kick in now - yuk.
