    All's well and we are home again :)

    Martin Benson did get through the stricture and tumour, he really is a clever chap.

    The stent has slipped part way into Peter's stomach, there is a cancerous lump at the top end of the stent this is friable and bleeds easily it is probably the site of recent bleed.The tumour has not changed it is still same size and active. there were no new tumours seen in stomach or duodenum…

    16.10.2012 we went out to celebrate Peter's sister's birthday had a lovely lunch Peter had steak , no hint that he had cancer.

    A YEAR ON .........We took her out to lunch yesterday to celebrate her birthday. Peter managed

    tomato soup, beer and icecream... What a mixture. but he was happy.xx

    Monday morning we will catch the 4.40 train to London Peter has to be at The Royal Marsden at 07.30 they will admit him…

    Thank you all for your nice encouraging replies they mean a lot to me .

    Mums party was brilliant she thoroughly loved every moment.

    I was slightly unnerved when Peter and  I arrived at the Football club  I hired for the event, to find 4 matches being played , now don't get me wrong I am a fan of men in shorts. but the car park was chocka and there were muddy men and supporters everywhere.

    Our mini break in Folkestone was fun saw The Billy Fury Story we are still singing Halfway to Paradise.Peter copes with a couple of nights but he doesn't sleep so well using the portable back rest so he was glad to get home yesterday.to the electric bed.

    His investigations start on Tuesday with Barium Swallow. His appetite is poor and he is troubled by a dry mouth,and I haven't got the time for much French kissing…
