Our mini break in Folkestone was fun saw The Billy Fury Story we are still singing Halfway to Paradise.Peter copes with a couple of nights but he doesn't sleep so well using the portable back rest so he was glad to get home yesterday.to the electric bed.
His investigations start on Tuesday with Barium Swallow. His appetite is poor and he is troubled by a dry mouth, and I haven't got the time for much French kissing to keep it moist. only joking but we did discuss it as an option prior to me posting on the site for help.
They say that you get to know people if you are out with a dog or children, but all you need is to get out a bottle of Fortisip on a train and a voice will say something like "have you tried the Banana one" and a new friend with a cancer story is made. It happens just about every time Peter tries to drink one when we are out. Brilliant. we have met some wonderful people and learned a lot.
Its My Mums birthday party next week I am doing a fork buffet, I have to stress that as Mum feels its posher than a finger buffet I wonder what she will make of the Fortisip bottle vases. She will be 87 her bridesmaids and pageboy, cousins and childhood friends are coming so it will be a lovely reunion for her about 40 people in all, I am amazed that we have located so many of them.
