    This is my last blog post. 

    I want to THANK every one who has read,followed,commented  and encouraged us on our journey. A huge thank you to those who became friends and sent private messages although I have not been the best at replying I have been moved and cheered by your input.

    Today we have celebrated Peter's life before he was cremated, the sun shone and the day was exactly as he wished, the chapel was full of friends…

    I never imagined I would be pleased to register Peter's death, but I am, to have completed the paper trail and know My Peter can rest at last and that his funeral will go ahead on Friday as planned is comforting

    Even better I have visited him this afternoon and he looks so young  relaxed, and peaceful, we had a long chat , well me bringing him up to speed on the events of the last 10 days, he never replied but then…

    Nearly a week has passed and  Peter is still in the Coroners care, this means that I am not allowed to see him and he cannot be washed etc. also although I have the cause of death certificate I am unable to register his death.

    When I was informed of this on Thursday at 4.30 pm by the registrar. I just leaned forward put my forehead on her desk and sobbed.

    Thank you all for your condolences and sincere lovely P m's, replies to discussions and my  blog posts  they have been very welcome and a comfort to me and our girls. I shall be printing them off to paste in Peter's Condolence Book.

    I feel I must write one more blog post to explain how my Dear Peter went home.

    We went to London as usual on Tuesday and stayed overnight in a hotel in Kensington. Peter was feeling well and we went for an Indian meal it was sublime and we sat in the restaurant eating and chatting and said it felt as if someone had flicked a switch and we were back to pre C days after the meal we sat in the bar and went to bed so happy…
