After a brief but brave fight with secondary liver failure, Dal's brother Mark passed away at 5am on 15/05/2021 I am so grateful that his fight enabled all of the my children to attend their Grandad's funeral on the 13th, Mark battled hard and made that possible.

With Dal's blood readings he was told that the 4000 reading is now 12 and the one that was 24 is now less than 1, and once it's less than 1 it can't be measured.. so his bloods are all within the normal range, and it is likely that there will be little change now. The scan itself shows that everything is stable, the tumours in the lung are undetectable…

Over the past month and with regards to Dal's treatment, things have continued positively.
The scar on his chest has healed well, the port is in use for all chemo sessions and now this is the way that his bloods are taken in preparation for the trastuzumab. No more covering his arm to protect a picc line during a shower, and because of that his arm is looking a lot better. His skin had started to grey and dry out…
