Another good day. Bert is almost sounding like himself and he put his hearing aids in before I went to visit which of late has been unusual so he is obviously feeling better. He is due for some blood and platelets so tomorrow he should look a lot less grey I hope. Someone please give me a shake I need to get my ironing done  and really cant be bothered. Failing that I could leave a set of keys underneath a plant pot and…

Everything still going well after Bert's scare last week. Long may it continue.

No change in his blood counts though so will still be in for a while yet. We are expecting to hear from The Beatson soon Re the Bone Marrow Transplant and when they expect it all to happen. We seem to spend our lives waiting (as do all of you too) for results or appointments.

Good news the Ct scan was normal. Thank goodness. Bert is asleep, bearing in mind that he says he never sleeps. He is feeling better and I am having a day off work so I think I will go and treat myself to a new hairdo if I can wangle an appointment

Much better day today and he does not know anything about what happened yesterday although he remembers that I was there until very late.

The confusion is not nearly so bad today at least he knows who everyone is and where he is.

A CTscan has been arranged so check that there is no spread to his brain.

It has been a couple of days since I visited becsause Bert has been well. However, last night his temp weent up to 39.9 and he was very confused The Drs could not undersand what hew  was trying to say nor could the nurses. He did not know who the were or where hewas until I appeared and he said he had better behave so he still has his sense of humour amongst the confusion.
