Thanks Jeanie  & Reneesha for your kind words it is good to know that someone else is thinking of us . We had a nice couple of hours together tonight. however Bert got quite distressed when he found out that the kids were there last week when he was so unwell. He doesn't like them to see him ill.

Might I add that the youngest is almost 26 but to him they are still kids.

Sorry for not being in contact for a while, I do apologise.

Iam delighted to hear Bert is back on the mend its

been along time waiting for his transplant, lets hope it wont be too long before he is in the Beatson.

How are you keeping? thats a stupid question I just hope for both your sakes and the family, things start to happen soon.

Hi Sarsfield

No need for apologies Bert is looking and feeling a lot better, He is due for a couple of pints of blood and some platelets over the weekend so should get some colour in him. Blood counts have not started to rise yet but they did say as he started with zero Wcc and neutrophils it would take longer this time. The main thing is that they do come up.

As for me I am tired but I try and get as much rest as I possibly can. and do as little as I can get away with after all the housework can wait its only me here and I can put up with a little dust for a while.
