Here we are 2 weeks into Berts current treatment and he feels well. Doesn't that sound good He feels well!!!! There is not really much to tell today. Confusion still ther along with tiredness otherewise all ok Teri

 

Another infection free day for Bert. No temp. No Hypertension. No Fluids. Still not eating though he has lost a stone in 2 weeks but at least he is feeling better. He slept most of the day so I managed to get a cardigan knitted for our grandchild due in March. If he keeps this up I will have a whole layette done by the time we are finished with this cycle of chemo. Pity I can't take my sewing machine too!!I could get…

Another good night with no temp or diarrhoea. He is still very confused though, and even though I know it's not really funny some of the things he is saying are very amusing.

It has taken me a week to get my ironing done (not that this is new) Bert usually does all the housework so it is difficult to keep up . But as it is only me there I don't mind I will clean when I get the time.

Last night was a better night as Bert actually woke up for a while temp still down so he is beginning to feel better each day. He had another 2 units of blood and some platelets so I am hoping today he will not look quite so grey. And he also ate something do better news today

Better news tonight Berts Liver scan results are fine he just has fatty deposits on and around his liver nothing more sinister.

He was feeling a little better today although he slept all through visiting allowing me time to read my book and relax was that not very thoughtful of him.

Temp stayed down today, which is more good news. Tomorrow he is to have another 2 units of blood and platelets so he should have some colour…
