What do I do if I think someone has broken our Community guidelines?
You can read our Community guidelines here. These guidelines are just in place to protect all of our members. If you see something on the site which worries you, or that you feel breaks these guidelines, please let us know. Underneath every post on the site, you will see a “More” button. Click on this button to bring up the option to click “flag to moderator.” Clicking this button will alert the Community team, who can then look at the post and take action if necessary.
You can also use this button if you’d like us to take a look at a post because you feel the member might need further support.
If you’d prefer, you can also contact us directly at community@macmillan.org.uk if you’d like to report anything on the site. If you would like to report a post via email, please send us a link to the post.
What do I do if I am having technical problems?
Please contact the Community team immediately if you’re experiencing any technical difficulties. It helps us if you provide as much information as possible. This includes:
- What device you were using
- What you were trying to do on the site
- What went wrong, with screenshots if possible
Please email us at community@macmillan.org.uk. We will then do what we can to fix the issue. Please note that we might not be able to solve technical problems immediately, but we will help as soon as we can.
