How to fundraise for us

Thank you for your interest in fundraising for Macmillan. Your support means a lot to us.

You can find fundraising opportunities on the ‘Get involved’ page. You can also find out more about events and how to get involved on our Fundraising events homepage. You can also find out more about how to set up your own event.

Our guidelines kindly ask that members don’t fundraise on the Online Community. This includes fundraising for Macmillan. This is because we’d like the Community to be focused on supporting each other. If you have any fundraising questions, our Supporter Care Hub team can help. You can call them on 0300 1000 200, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. You can also email them at fundraising@macmillan.org.uk.

Who are the Community champions?

“I have looked around the community a bit and there are certainly some "Champions"....how kind and empathetic they are - such unselfishness to spend time in responding to other is often rare these days. This website is excellent and has been an enormous help.” Online Community member

The Community Champions are a dedicated team of volunteers here in the Community. They are members who found the Community to be really helpful and wanted to give something back. Our Champions offer support and a listening ear. They help new members find their way around the site. Community champions also help the Community team to keep the site safe for everyone.

We’re looking for members who have offered lots of kind words and support to other members. Community Champions will also have ideally been active for a while on the site.

If this sounds like you or a member you’ve seen on the site, why not let us know at community@macmillan.org.uk?

Still have questions about how to use the site? Go to our help group to ask a question to the team.
