my mri scan is tomorrow not looking forward to it but has to be done, hopefully they can do ct scan aswell. Didn’t ever expect I’d get cancer at 33 years of age :( feeling sorry for myself
Hi
I hope it goes ok for you tomorrow.
The CT and/or MRI is the normal next step and will help them move forward with a treatment plan. So in a way it is a good next step to get out of the way. Once they know exactly where the cancer is then they can get on with the task of removing it.
It is hard to get a diagnosis of cancer and I can understand that you are feeling a bit sorry for yourself. I know for me the diagnosis came out of the blue. Things moved quickly for me and I was in surgery exactly 4 weeks after my first symptom.
If it would help to talk things through tomorrow, then please do give the Support Line a call. There will be someone there from 8am-8pm everyday.
Jane
