Has anyone out of the blue just spotted ? Just a tiny tiny amount but enough to make me panic .
Bless you I’d understand you being concerned and would recommend you contact someone ASAP - if it was me I’d call my CNS as they may be able to sort things quicker than going through the GP. It may be nothing at all but it’s worth checking.
Thank you for replying.
I will have to call tomorrow .
Hi Tippybailey, I too had some spotting last October just over two years after my hysterectomy, it was very light and I felt sure it was coming from the vulva area not deep in the vagina. After it happened a couple of times in a week I phoned my CNS who was very helpful and said she would speak to the consultant and see if they thought I should be seen. Two weeks later an appointment arrived for a few days later, I had had no more spotting since, at the hospital I was examined and the consultant said everything looked good but the vulva area was slightly red so I was prescribed some cream. She also said I'll send you for an MRI just to be sure, an appointment was made there and then for two days later. After about 5 week's I received a letter saying everything was clear on the scan, an appointment was made for me to make sure I was getting on ok, this was in March, I was again examined and everything was ok, I had had more more spotting at all. I am now back on the patient initiated follow up. I must say I have had really excellent treatment all through from the NHS.
Hi Tippybailey how did it go ?
as for spotting well i had a big bleed last September i called my team who got me in the next day and didnt see anything of concern and i was worried i may of over reacted but they said no. You did the right thing in telling us. So yes definitely ok to mention to your CNS or GP or both. I have the extra complication that i have chronic kidney disease that i have recently been diagnosed with but the irony is i feel some relief to have an answer to some really weird things that have happened.
So i hope everything is A ok and sending some gentle bear hugs

Thank you .
I’ve had nothing else thank the lord , so I’ve not rung the doctor . If it happens again I will definitely tell someone .
I think I may have chaffed after a spinning class. That’s what I’m hoping .
hope your ok GBear you were such a support to me when I initially was diagnosed x
Thank you for your reply , I’ve had no more since and hoping it’s chaffing .I will follow your advice if I have any more x
Tippybailey, it’s your choice of course, but just to point out that our advice to have it checked out is in line with NHS guidelines on post-menopausal spotting, ie that we should seek medical advice even if it has only happened once. Hope all turns out okay.
Hi Tippybailey. Hello again.
Personally I'd get it checked out and call your CNS rather than your GP. Better be safe than sorry. I wouldn't have thought a spinning class would have caused chafing after 2 years.

Hi...I don't want to alarm you as it is totally your choice whether you decide to get this checked out or not but just wanted to share my experience. I've recently been diagnosed with phase 1 stage 1b endemetroid cancer and this was following me having just a bit of spotting. By the time I had gone to my GP 2 days later about it the bleeding had stopped and so I did think it was likely to be a post menopausal blip. I just wanted to say that even though your spotting may have stopped, please don't use that as a reason to not get it checked or wait for it to happen again (apart from bleeding after my hysteroscopy I have not bled again yet I know I have cancer)..I am so glad I did get it checked even though the outcome was not what I wanted to hear. Obviously it is your body and you know it better than anyone, and it maybe that the reason is nothing to worry about....I think a few of us on here have a different view and would probably ourselves get it checked for peace of mind.
All the best.
Hi Tippybailey
Have you arranged to have it checked out yet? I just had another thought if you've had a hysterectomy and, I assume, removal of fallopian tubes and ovaries there's nothing left that you'd normally bleed from. (If you get my drift)
Hugs, Barb xx
