Saw my lovely oncology consultant today for my 4 year post treatment check - all seems fine, so just one more to go in a year’s time! (I was grade 1 stage 2). Interestingly she said that nowadays most women opt for patient-led follow up rather than in person checks, and she then usually only gets to see women with issues and not often those who are doing okay. I was originally offered patient-led but I’m glad I chose to ask for in person check ups as it has given me a natural platform for questions and concerns.
