Has anyone out of the blue just spotted ? Just a tiny tiny amount but enough to make me panic .
Hello Tippybailey
i had something very similar recently - just a few tiny spots of blood. I rang the oncology team who do my check-ups and they arranged to see me quickly. After an internal examination they said that I had Vaginal Atrophy, which is apparently very common after menopause and also after hysterectomy. The drop in hormones causes vaginal dryness which can lead to bleeding. I was prescribed a non-hormone based lubricant which has been very helpful. The consultant said I might well have spotting again, caused by the atrophy, but that I should always contact them as any bleeding after hysterectomy needs to be checked. They reassured me that I wouldn’t be being a nuisance, but being sensible!
I hope this helps.

Thank you Pippa, I’m sure that’s what I have dryness and rubbing from a spinning class . The blood was not coming from inside the vagina (after looking with mirror ) just sore spot from outside..
