How's your lifestyle generally, are you eating well,  plenty of fresh veg and fruit, drinking lots of water, 

Getting fresh air daily? Sleeping well? Are you on any medication?

Just a thought, if we can improve these things, our immunity gets stronger. X

Hi. Yeah I eat well try to be out walking not on any meds so this being ill is unusual for me and I'm hoping it's short lived xx

You're doing all the right things.....have you tried some over the counter vitamins x

Just to say though Mad that I had already been doing all those things for several months when my low white cell count was diagnosed. My GP was surprised as he said it’s usually chemo that can affect the immune system rather than radio.

Yeah I've always been in the habit of taking vitamins but read a lot of confusing things about the affect of radiotherapy with vitamins and supplements so still trying to find what works 

How did you feel ?? Were you catching colds etc before you asked about the tests?

No but I had had Covid which surprised me as I’m largely antisocial and don’t tend to be around people! I was just very tired and felt run down.
