Hi everyone,

ok so I had my 3 month check yesterday and whilst being examined they took a biopsy of granulated tissue. I’m now panicking at that.

Also they said a tiny bit of cancer on sentinel node, but after the “meeting “ of my team they came to conclusion this was likely contaminated during surgery.

Does this sound right ? I questioned them and they seem quite relaxed about it all . I don’t need any further treatment .

just another wait for the biopsy.

hope everyone is ok xx

  • Hi Tippybailey, can't really comment on your symptoms but can understand your panic! Was it your first three month check? It must seem like a never ending circle, and I should think that everyone who has had this "Thing" is always wary that it could come back to bite us at any time. So you are back in the waiting zone, which is a bad place to be as we all imagine all sorts of things.  I would say, trust your medical team, they know what they are doing. If they aren't too worried then you can relax a bit too.  Hope your biopsy comes back clear, fingers crossed!
