Sorry to hear about your long wait. I had a hysterectomy in September 06, then started 5 weeks of external radiotherapy at the end of October and had the brachytherapy (vault) early in December straight after the external had finished. So in all it was about 13 weeks after the operation. Not sure if that helps you though.

thanks  i just keep being told treatment  should have started by 12wks they even sent me to different hosp as mine hadnt got a bed till nov and told it was to late  just need to get back to some sort of normality as feel need to be posative x

Hi there

I completed chemotherapy on Tuesday 29th Sept and have an appointment this afternoon with the radiologist to discuss my external/internal treatment.   Will let you know what he says and when treatment is expected to start.
