I was diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma of the bartholins gland 7yrs ago which was removed. In February it had spread to the lung which was removed. But now has turned up again in the vulva. I'm.facing the prospect of pelvic exeneration surgery, I wondered if anyone had had this surgery and how they coped? Honestly I'm terrified, but trying to be positive
Hi Flamingo275
I have a different cancer (Leiomyosarcoma) but have just had major labia surgery and they have biopsies all of my nether region organs and bowel.
It's a really horrible time, but the hospital team ate great, people on here and any friends and family support you have, make sure you use it
Stay strong Chrissy x
Hi Chrissy, thanks for the reply. It helps to know other people are going through similar and get through it. Belinda xx
