Hi. My biopsy came back as VIN3 and I have opted not to have wle but the cream to use for three months. I'm just looking for any advice or help and hopefully some good results. I will start using Aldara? cream/ointment tomorrow once I collect from pharmacy. I worry that these abnormal cells have travelled further. I'm wondering if I should go for cervical smear test? My problem "itch" started last year so I'm thinking that's quite a short time to go from normal to abnormal cells. My GP is total waste of time and I paid to see private gynae. Hoping to hear from other women with this. Thanks

Unfortunately I can’t offer any experience on Aldara, but I did have VIN3.
I’m sorry your GP isn’t being very helpful.
With regards to a smear test, it’s worth asking. I often wonder whether mine should be brought forward, but my team don’t feel it’s necessary. I’ve read that sometimes it’s brought forward, so maybe it depends on the consultant.
