Can I ask if you ever got an answer? Also, what kind of illness were you experiencing from the aldera ? I hope it helped. 

I have used Aldara and found that generally when it stops working the area has cleared but the only way to know for sure is to have a biopsy. It sounds like the reaction you had meant that the cream was working. I sympathise. It is really hard going at the time!

Do you know what she meant by felt very ill?

Some people have systemic effects and feel like they have flu like symptoms. They can feel very tired with it. With others they are local side effects on the skin but because it can be painful or irritating it is still tiring especially if you can’t sleep.
