Ive been given imiquimod cream to use 3 times a week for 6 weeks. Im currently on my 4th week and im experiencing soarness, tingling, crawling, slight burning. Aching and flue like symptoms.
Im hoping this is the imiquimod cream doing its job and its not the vin3 spreading.
Any advice and experiences would be gratefully appreciated ladies.
Hello Blondi
I am Brian, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community. I have just noticed your post has gone unanswered. I can't answer it myself, however by me replying your post will be "bumped up" to the top of the page and i hope seen and answered by other members of the vulva cancer group.
Having read your post if you are still having the issues (I have no idea if they are side effects or not) I would advise you to go back to your team and ask for some further advice.
I wish you well moving forward.
Best wishes - Brian.

Hi Blondi, I had the same reaction with the same cream. My gynaecologist thought I was bonkers but it genuinely made me feel really unwell to the point I stayed in bed all day. I ended up stopping using the cream as it got so bad!! I’m now just monitored regularly and have surgery as and when anything odd comes up. How are you doing? Are you still using the cream? Rage care x
