‘’This is my first post , I have tnbc stage 4 , mets to brain, lungs and bones. I will be having Eribulin next week and was told I’d stay on that for as long as it works. I’ve googled it (wish I hadn’t) and it said it only works on average for 3/4 months, is this correct?

I am so sorry to read your post and to read what you have been and are going through. I personally can't answer your question, but would recommend only using renowned sites - Macmillan, Cancer Research UK and Breast Cancer.org. Other sites are woefully out of date and hopefully you went to one of those and the information is incorrect.
As this is a 'sub group' being TNBC, you may want to join the other sub group, secondary breast cancer where it is more specific to your enquiry. Or you could ask an expert from Macmillan ( the nurse).
The main breast cancer group is a lot busier, but you will find many ladies (and the odd gent) who are not secondary. There is however, an Awake thread where often ladies will post on there in the middle of the night when they can't sleep, so if you find yourself in that position you can join them for a bit of support maybe.
If no-one on this group is able to help you, try copying your question to either the nurse and/or the secondary group and hopefully you will get some reassurance.
