Hello to all you wonderful people.
I am back here after a 9 year break to go through this again. My good boob has finally given in to the C and I start with my Mastectomy on Monday. My concern at the moment is how they will be administering my Chemo as after the last time the veins in my right arm are non existent and due to a full Lymph Node clearance on my left arm last time we cant go in that way. I had Ebirubicin and then Docetaxel last time for a number of months before Radiotherapy and as it was every 3 weeks before I don't know if a Hickman line would be an option this time. Has anyone faced the same situation ? I would say happy to be joining you again but I'd be fibbing lol but I am so grateful to see these amazing support groups still around. xxx
Hi ericalouise
I'm sorry that you've had to return here especially after such a long time away
I can't help with your question, as I haven't had this type of treatment, but I noticed that your post had gone unanswered. I think it would be a good idea to also post this question in the main breast cancer group as it's much busier than this one. Clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there.
I'm also tagging this group's Champions GRANNY59, and as they may be able to help you further.
Wishing you all the best
x
Thank you so much for replying. I've joined three now I think but have been lucky enough to get some very helpful replies. Hope your having a great day x
Sorry ericalouise, I should have checked your recent activity before replying because then I would have spotted your other replies. That's what comes of having a glass of wine with my Sunday lunch
Please never apologise. The wine is the major part of the very best Sunday roast lol Enjoy xx
