Anyone else had Thy3f?

I really would push to see if you can get a second opinion if you are not happy. I have done that regarding another matter. 

I struggled swallowing food after my surgery. I struggled eating for months after my thyroidectomy. 

I know consultants think they know best, but I agree they don't know pur bodies like we do. 

I started experiencing anxiety after my thyroidectomy, I never had anxiety before the cancer. 

You need to push the consultants girls, don't give up.

I’m going for a barium swallow on Tuesday and have my surgery to remove half my thyroid on the 20th, so hopefully I will get some answers soon.

That's the thing isn't it, we know our bodies. It's rather insulting. 

Stand your ground and be confident  in advocating for yourself.
