hi all im new here,im glad to found this supportive forum,i hope if somebody can advice me correctly i really dont know what do more.
I accidentally noticed a lump on my testicles, lump is rice sized maybe half rice, or pin head , its really hard as rock, lump location is on top of the testicle, but not at epydidimis, just next to it,its looks like is attached to testicle.
I immediately went to the urologist for examination and ultrasound, doctor was able to palpate lump bit not concerned at all,and did a ultrasound scan an US show nothing, apsolutley nothinq,my testicles are healthy without lumps.
next few days i went to next specialist ,for exam and US scan, this second doctor also can not find anything on ultrasound, and he told me ,to not worry.
i again booked new examination by a doctor next specialist and ultrasound ,same thing, he found small cyst on testicle itself but i think he is not sure if it was cyst, nothing suspicious and he told me im ok.
then i booked finaly my last US exam at next urology specialist with last gen ultrasound device.
he felt my lump but on ultrasound my testicles are perfectly fine without any cyst or lump on testicle itself.
doctor was very kind and he is tried to find my lump on at any angle and position, exam was last 30 min trying to find spot,no issues ,no patology all perfectly find.
i done all tumor markers and all clear.
sorry for long story, but my lump is there but US show nothing and all doctors specialist told me this is not cancer and not to worry.
my questions are.
my lump feels like on surface of testicle not epydidimis,i read online that lumps are on testicle are most likely bad.
can i have cyst on testicle surface and still to be benign?
does ultrasound is able to catch that kind of lumps?
doctor said that testicles is 100% visible on US? and if i have something he is able to catch it.
can testicular cancer missed by ultrasound?
can i belive my doctors and move on with life?
sorry for grammar errors,im realy under huge stress while typing this question.
thanks in advance, god bless you all.
Look at the information for any age not just teenagers. It's more rare for teenagers than older adults. I believe only 2000 people are diagnosed ever year out of millions of people so % rates are low.
You just need to keep busy till tomorrow and your doctor can then help.
only 2000 people from all over the world get sick in a year from testicular cancer?
I read on the internet that only 1 in 250 people get testicular cancer in their lifetime and only 6% are children and teenagers.
could I be unlucky to have testicular cancer?
if it was the swelling due to the hit in 2021, wouldn't it heal by itself?
I am very afraid of what the doctor will say.
I don't even have money for operations and stuff like that, I'm poor.

Hi mate,
you’re literally describing what I’ve felt. I’d say half a grain of rice is perfect way to describe it, right under the epidermis but on the testicle itself I think. It’s so close to epidermis though. Wednesday I was in the cinema and felt like I’d twisted my right testicle or tugged it, the discomfort went away and the next day in the bath, I found it. I’d never noticed it before and do often check but it feels like it can feel less noticeable if I move the testicle around. I looked at Google and there was something called appendix testis and that looks exactly how I would describe what I can feel. I have no pain, no ache unless it’s squashed and messed with. Anyway, I went the Drs today and after a rummage, he finally found what I was describing. He said it’s very likely to be appendix testis or a tiny cyst, he said he’d felt testicular cancers and they didn’t feel like this, but because I was worried he said it was responsible for him to send me for a scan for a definitive answer as to what it is. He did say it won’t be on the 2 week rule because he’s not overly concerned and he would only send me for urgent scan if he was. He said it could be a number of weeks.
what you described is so similar and how you described it but my anxiety is getting the better of me. I don’t know wether to book a private scan ?
