7 years ago I was diagnose with TC stage 4 since I had metastasis to pelvis and lungs, but here I am still.
9 rounds of chemo mostly cisplatin.
My wife and I have been trying to get pregnant for almost 5 years now and nothing.
We did IVF 2 years after my chemo treatment since my sperm count was zero but it failed, the doctor said due to my body fighting already the cancer when we bank sperm the quality was not great.
it's been 7 years after my last chemo treatment and still showing zero sperm count.
has any of you been through this many years with zero sperm count?
We still can try to do IVF for the second time.
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
That's fantastic news that it's 7 years since you were diagnosed and your wife and you would like to have children.
I'm not a member of this group but noticed that your post hadn't had any responses. Have you spoken to your CNS about your sperm count?
You could also post your question in ask a nurse and one of the specialist nurses will reply within 2 working days.
I do hope that everything works out for you both.
