Signet Ring Cell carcinoma of Gastric Origin Stage 4

Hi, sorry to hear of your diagnosis… I had stage 4 signet ring, with no further spread 3 years ago… I had a gastrectomy… and 8 rounds of FLOT..

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis.

My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 signet ring cell gastric cancer in Feb with lung and lymph mets.

He’s undergoing 6-8 rounds of chemo (Capox) and has had Herceptin added in now too. 

He was also told that surgery won’t be an option, because of the spread. 

He’s had a CT scan after his 3rd round to see how things are going and we’re waiting the results of that at the moment. We won’t be updated until June, which feels like a long wait!
