Pre-op all done swobs bloods ecg all lk ready for next week .cannot say i am looking forward to the wait. just got to control my mind
Hi Nicnac, I would say that a couple of weeks on from the operation, my mum is at home, much more cheerful, chatty, moving about. Truthfully, what is bothering her isn’t the surgery “side effects” but what was remaining from the chemo previously. She is happy and improving, getting back to how she was. I hope it goes well for you and you can be out of the hospital and at home as little as one week after your op. Best of luck xxx
Hi nicnac mum is 67 xx
she was fairly active, not jogging or gym going but more she could walk long distances comfortably and happy to be on her feet cooking several hours etc, shopping no bother for a few hours. The chemo took it out of her energy and lethargy wise- I believe more so than the surgery. I would say five weeks on from surgery she is 70% of where she was pre-surgery. Hope this is helpful x
