Hi I’m new here and was hoping I could get some answers of possible

  • Hi. My dad was diagnosed with this he had a spot on his head ( he used to live in Spain). What would you like to know. You can also visit the sarcoma UK charity or call them they are a great help.

  • My husband had a lump removed from his arm on November 21st and the dermatologist said it was nothing to worry about and thought it was a pilomatrixoma a benign tumour caused by hair follicles, but we got results Friday and it turns out it is the pleomorphic dermo sarcoma and is now waiting on a scan to see if it has spread and has to see the plastic surgeon Tuesday, has anyone in the group have any info as it seems it’s a rare skin cancer and the doctor we spoke to said she had to read up on it and has made me worry, thank you

  • My dads was removed surgically 4 years ago with big margins ( no sign of cancer cells InThe area)

it is really important that he sees a sarcoma specialist if you look on the sarcoma Uk web page there is a list of sarcoma centres I. The UK. I would also call sarcoma Uk they have a wealth. Of knowledge to help you.

my dad is s fine today

  • Thank you for your reply and hope your dad is doing well now

we understand it is normally in elderly people and mainly men,my husbands is on the top of his arm and was a 15mm by 16mm lump and he is 60,just scary as they now have to operate again and take another 2cm all around and said that they have to go deep into the arm too,did your fathers spread and is it a cancer they keep a eye on after as we have heard it can grow back

  • Sorry I have replied back and new to this and thank you for your information I shall take a look and speak to someone, take care and i appreciate your response
