Hello Everyone,
I find searching for things on google really difficult and you get such scary information.
I had/have tumour in my leg that has now been removed and my margins were clear.
Is this good positive? Should I be really happy? I’m so anxious all the time I feel like any ache or pain esp in my chest or any reflux that it’s spread to my lungs.
Anything I should look out for?
I am happy to answer any questions.
I have a very young baby and I’m 34.

Hi ADot welcome to the forum. I think this news does sound positive, but like any of us who have had any form of Cancer any further aches and pains and we are immediately back at worst case scenario and I assure you that you are not alone in that. There is no reason to expect that you will not get to see that lovely baby of yours grow up into a fully fledged adult so enjoy every moment.
If I could offer just one word of advice and I so say it a lot, as we know what you mean about Google. It is good for general searches but not specific enough, as believe it or not even though our Cancers are in a group E.G yours being Sarcoma no two Cancers are ever the same but Google doesn't tell you that.
Thank you so much for replying to me!! Taking the effort to do so means so much.
The word cancer frightens you so much and yet there are so many wonderful outcomes. Whether that’s complete cure or living with it and doing so for many many years.
I’m at the very beginning of my journey and people around me are incredibly supportive but feel like I should now just move on. I really want to but equally understanding things more makes me more relaxed about it.
Like if it comes back is it most likely in the same place? Can you get a different type of sarcoma? If the margins are clear does that mean it’s less likely to have spread whilst it was still in your body?
any information anyone has or experience would be so so helpful.
So much love!
xx
