Hi
I was diagnosed back in September with a myxofibrosarcoma in my leg.
I’ve had the operations to remove and reconstruct. Now having radiotherapy.
it’s all hit me now. During treatment and having it all going on it’s easy to forget. Now I’ve had a break over Christmas I really hit rock bottom.
I’ve now had breast cancer and a soft tissue sarcoma and I’m 36. Keep thinking what’s next??
Jenna
Hi Jenna so sorry to hear you have had such a rough time at such a young age. It is strange how things really hit you when there is a lull in treatment. I suppose when it's all going on your mind is busy but then thing slow down and whollop you hit the doldrums. I am a lot older than you 66 tomorrow in fact. I had breast cancer 8 years ago and today I have my surgical consultation and pre op assessment for uterine sarcoma. I have spread into one of my lungs too, I have no idea what they will offer me for that.
I do understand you thinking "what next" because it is always possible that there could be something else. I try and take it day by day and suck as much out of each one as I can. It doesn't always work but sometimes it does and that makes it easier to face the next day. I wish you well for 2022 as much happiness as you can squeeze out of each day. Nanci
