I have just been diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma in my pelvis, inoperable and incurable. I am due to start chemotherapy in the next two weeks (doxorubicin). Has anyone had this type of tumour or chemotherapy, feeling very anxious and scared. I am 51 years old
Hi
Sorry to hear of your diagnosis . I understand how scary it is, I have a uterine sarcoma, and had a full hysterectomy in august. I’m not starting treatment yet, as they are seeing what happens next. It’s spread to my lung though.
I will probably need the same chemo as you, eventually.
I was 50 in September. Not the best birthday ever!
sorry I can’t help much, but here if want to talk
