I am having chemotherapy for the 2nd time and I believe this is what is causing such bad headaches all the time.
I just wondered if any one else suffers from severe headaches during chemotherapy I have had one for 4 weeks day and night have tried so many things but nothing seems to work any suggestions would be great

Hi The beach
Sorry to hear about what you are going through. Hopefully you have the number of the oncology department as it would really be best to contact them as they will be able to look at medical history, your kind of chemotherapy and all the rest of the issues and give you the right advice in all your circumstances.
I am sure you are keeping a check on your temperature - I know my wife ended up needing IV antibiotics on a few occasions while she was having chemotherapy.
<<hugs>>

Hi I had head pain with chemo but i think it was because chemo attacked the hair follicles. Even when I lost my hair my head hurt and it hurt when the hair grew back too. It tended to set in during the evenings and passed by morning. I think chemo also makes everything feel sensitive...e.g to cold etc but then everyone is different. Hope its manageable now x
