Hi lfc (Liverpool Footy Club?).  I'm afraid i don't know the answer to your query, but i have seen other users recommend that the macmillan nurses on here are really good at this type of information so maybe use the 'get help' field at the very bottom of this page.  Good luck with both the radiotherapy and the finances xx

Hi Aviva just given me critical illness...they pay out for any type of malignancy. I found them easy to work with. It's good to have this in place we would have been in real financial difficulties without it x

Thanks annieapple1 i start my 6 weeks radiotherapy next week and I work in construction so if my back becomes sore I will have to be off again so hopefully they do or I will be in trouble with paying my mortgage and bills but I've been waiting 2 weeks now for a decision so fingers crossed

    Hi LFC

Sorry to hear of your situation. You could try asking Macmillan welfare section on here, I think I started with the online chat. You may have done this already, as I can see Jinny has suggested Macmillan nurses. I’ll find the link if need it

Use drop down box, on the right, 3 lines. Choose ask an expert, then … ask a financial guide, or just click on Chat, on the right, that’s what I did. They close at 4.30 I think, but open at 9am. I found them really helpful.
    Good luck. X
