Hi everyone, hope you're all managing to cope at this very strange and scary time. I was just wondering if anyone is still getting their checkup scans done? Or are they being cancelled? Thanks in advance and take care all of you! Sparky2 xxxxx
Hi Steve, Thanks for replying, yeah I'm not very hopeful either. While I am very anxious, I am really happy that other people will get my lovely team's attention and that patients with respiratory problems will get all the CT and MRI scans they need. At least I know my anxiety will lessen later on. Keep well Steve, Janice and your family love and virtual hugs Sparky2 x
Hi Sparky2 Worrying times for everyone at the moment. I'm staying at home (Luckier than most) and only trips out are for chemo and bloods. I was due to have a scan mid April and I've had a letter saying it's postponed. My lovely oncologist called earlier to confirm my next chemo and apologised. How they are dealing with all this in top of their already overloaded workload I have no idea. Sending you all the best.

Absolutely Gunnersgal! They are amazing even without this virus, just coping with such high demand on a day to day basis before this all started! Well I was waiting to be given appointments for a scan and with the pain clinic. I am going to have to find ways to cope on my own I suppose as even the lovely outreach teams have been pulled back onto the wards. I just hope the staff can keep themselves and their own families safe. Good luck and hugs to all xx
