  1. Hi everyone. Seven weeks ago whilst having a chest scan I was told of an incidental finding of a lump in my abdomen. It turns out to be a well differentiated liposarcoma currently non malignant. I am now faced with the decision to either have surgery and lose kidney, spleen tip of pancreas and part of my bowel and loss of leg function or have surveillance scans. I am a keen runner and either run, walk, cycle or go to the gym every day. Feeling lonely is anyone else in my position.

Hi Sparky2 and Esmerelda-Sue, sorry I’ve not been here for a while, I’m doing well, I had the results of my scan yesterday, every thing is fine next one in six months. Glad you have a date for your op now Sparky2 and hope it all goes well, and Esmeralda-Sue glad you are able to exercise, and hope you don’t have to wait too long for your results. Take care both of you Lin0211
